He was predeceased by: his parents, John Visser and Grace Visser (Brinks); and his siblings, Steve, Edward and Wilhelmina Frerich.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Visser (Kilburn) of South Haven; his children, John Visser (Marcia) of Mattawan and Patricia Visser of Albion; and his grandchildren, Aaron (Sarah), Hannah and Grace. He is also survived by six nieces.
