He is survived by: his children, James Walker Jr. and Olivia Walker; his granddaughter Taruh Johnson; his mother Norma Townsend; and his siblings, Susan Walker Turner (Walter) and Charles Walker (Renell). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
