He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nellie Tidwell and Jim Tidwell; his son David Joshua Tidwell (Maitane); his stepchildren, Kristen (Jeff) and Robert Oakleaf (Joel); his grandchildren, Maya, Beto Tidwell, Jacob, Kayla, Michael and Justin Kubiak; and his sisters, Jeannine Cranford (BJ) and Lou Plummer.
