He was predeceased by: his father James Hollis Sr.; and also Cynthia Hollis (Underwood). He is survived by: his husband Ahmed Alaabodi; his siblings, Christopher of Hartford, MI, Tiffany (Corey) of South Haven, MI and Gregory (Tina) of Groveland, FL.; his nieces and nephews, Jaden, Zacorious, Kobe, Harper, Jocelyn, Kaley, Lucas, Amber and Brittany; his godmother Bonnie Wortman (Underwood); his uncle Joe Underwood; his aunts, Cathy Underwood, Barbra Ross (Hollis), Christine Underwood (Hollis), Faye Keunzli (Hollis) and Nona Hollis; and his pets, Hazel, Pepper and Weston. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Filbrandt Chapel (1076 S Bailey Ave, South Haven, MI 49090). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
