She was predeceased by: her parents, L. Victor Nolan and Veronica Nolan (Werner); and her siblings, William, Mary and Barbara.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Salasky (Bob) of Bangor; her sister Francis Howard (Thomas) of Grand Haven; her sister-in-law Ida Messina of Chicago; her sons, Michael Salasky (Patricia), Thomas Salasky (Traci), Mark Salasky (Susan) and Steven Salasky (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Stefanie Crofton (Mike), Amy Salasky, Rachel, Samuel Salasky, Kathryn Salasky, Robert Salasky (Courtney), Matthew Salasky (Marisa), Nicholas, Noah and Andrea Salasky; and her great grandchildren, Patrick, Chloe Crofton and Raymond Salasky. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the Salasky family is encouraging memorials in Helen's name be made to St. Basil Catholic Church of South Haven.
