It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerda Beccue of South Haven, Michigan, who passed away on December 1, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, August Pintzke and Frieda Pintzke (Hopp); her former husband Heinz Simon; her husband Charles Beccue; and her sisters, Elizabeth Okenmeyer and Ann Engler.

She is survived by: her children, Karl Simon (Marcia) of Dawsonville, Georgia and Kitty Beccue of South Haven, Michigan; her grandchildren, Gregory Simon, Karla Simon Martin, Julie Simon Brooks and Joseph Land; and her great grandchildren, Clayton, Kristen Simon, Ansley Maddox, Jacob Martin, Bailey and William Brooks.

“Gerda was a great lady, we miss her laugh and ready smile. We enjoyed visiting her with my mother Annegret at her cottage by the lake. My mother will miss her the most, she enjoyed all there times together especially playing cards and remembering all the old stories of growing up. That area beside the lake was lovely, we will miss that and all the people and personalities that are now gone. We're very sorry for your loss, but have confidence that she has gone to her glory - the J Marshall family”
