He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Watson and Jessie Watson; his wife Patricia Watson; and his siblings, Velden Watson, Frankie Watson, Jeannie Wellman and Corinna Slavich.
He is survived by: his children, AnnaMarie Deater (Dennis Etter) of Grand Haven, Erwin Watson, Jr. (Vonnie) of South Haven and Roxann Merrill (Don) of Grand Junction; his brother Allie Watson of Flint; and his grandchildren, Mike, Jenny (Jennifer), Trina, Amanda, Debbie, Buddy (Erwin), Carl, Alex (Alexandra) and Deena. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
