We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2018 we had to say goodbye to Dorothy Elaine Swanson (South Haven, Michigan), born in Junction, West Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Nels Peter Swanson of South Haven; her daughter Erika; her son-in-law Lucas Sponsler of Parma; her son Fritz Swanson; her daughter-in-law Sara of Manchester; her siblings, Donald Hartman of Keyser, Ralph Hartman of Keyser and Margaret "Sallie" Wingate of Richmond; and also, Stella, Hart, Oscar of Manchester and Abi of Manchester. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made in her name to any of the above school systems, to the Friends of Parma Library, or to the cancer research charity of your choosing, as Dot was a 25-year cancer survivor.
