Debra Widner Obituary

Debra "Deb" Ann Widner, 59, of South Haven, passed away on March 31, 2020 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was born February 20, 1961 to Connie Dunnavent in South Haven. Deb married Claud Widner on April 26, 2007 and they shared just under 13 years of marriage before her passing. She was formerly the manager of Subway in Union City.

Deb loved birds, spending time in her flower garden and online shopping. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Virginia Hosier. Deb is survived by her husband, Claud Widner, children – Nicole (Shannon) Sewell of Hartford, Stephanie Strickfaden of South Haven, and Cheyenne Strickfaden of Eufaula, Alabama, mother, Connie Dunnavent of Allegan, siblings – Sharon (Eddie) Stewart of Allegan, Mike Hosier of St. Joseph, and Danny Hosier of Portage, grandchildren – Jasmin, Ginny, Lindzie, and Georgia, great grandchildren – Benjamin Anthony, Bryleigh Grace, and one on the way and her granddog, "Sami".

Private Family. Funeral services will take place Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Services will be streamed for the public via the funeral home's website. Deb will be laid to rest at the Widner Memorial Garden at her home.
