She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hays and Virginia Hays; and her siblings, Lorna Montgomery and Richard Hays. She is survived by: her husband Robert Gerbel; her children, Nancy Kodis (Jim), Karen Homan and Steven Gerbel (Claudine); her grandchildren, Matt Kodis (Emily), Sam Kodis (Sarah), Carolyn Kodis, Drew Homan, Kate Homan (Brad Fyffe), Alex Gerbel and Sydney Gerbel; and her great grandchild Charlie Kodis.
