He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sweet and Helen Sweet (Lee); his wife Arlene Sweet; and his sister Betty Macek. He is survived by: his family Arlene; his children, Ann Baker, John Sweet II (Barbi), Mark Sweet (Patti), Denise Sweet, Joyce Bowers (Paul) and Michele Eaton (Joel); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Tony), Brian, Brad and Lauren (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Ian, Grant, Will and Hollis; his brother Richard Sweet; and his sister-in-law Nellie Cloutier.
