He was predeceased by: his mother Thelma Martinson Sr. (Hall); and his son-in-law Stephen Usitalo. He is survived by: his father Martin (Leona); his wife Leona Schoenemann; his children, Robert L. Martinson, Tanya K. Usitalo, Scott J. Martinson and Michaela L. Martinson; his daughter-in-law Alexis Martinson; his grandsons, Gregory Martinson, Scott Martinson Jr. and Zachary Martinson; and his sisters, Carol Martinson and Evelyn Silvester.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at noon with final visitation beginning at 11:00 AM at the Kalkaska Funeral Home. (because of COVID restrictions limited to 25 people for the funeral services).
