We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2021, at the age of 78, Walter Bennett (Sodus, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Bennett and Frieda Bennett (Ertman); and his siblings, Lillian and Alan. He is survived by: his friend Tim Gaipa; his wife Linda Bennett (Neumann); his children, Jennifer Saxe (Scott) and Cody Bennett (Lori); his grandchildren, Walter Saxe, Katherine Saxe and Lauren Bennett; and his siblings, Kate Crossman (late Ron), Cal Bennett (late Sue) and Denny Bennett (Michelle).

Memorial contributions may be given to Sodus Township Fire Department, Sodus Township Library, and the Gary Sinise Foundation (garysinisefoundation.org).
