He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Sr. Wheeler and Delia Wheeler; his wife Edna; his son William Wheeler; his stepson Steve Rydecki; his grandson Matthew Wheeler; and his stepgranddaughters, Tracy Rydecki and Amanda Gilliam.
He is survived by: his children, Barry Wheeler (Pam), David Wheeler of Dyersburg, Tenn, Louann Bauer of Watervliet and Otis Mark III (Sandra) of St. Joseph; and his stepchildren, Michael Gilliam (Jeana) of Coloma, Karen Kopp of Sodus, Peggy Yacklich (Joe) of Eau Claire and John Rydecki (Diane) of Lake Placid, Fla.. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 24 great-great-grandchildren.
