He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Schell and Teri Schell (Hull); his grandfather Floyd Schell; and his great-grandparents, Joe, Joyce Moriartey, Carl, Linda Sutherland, Bob, Anna Hull, Frances and Leland Nichol.
He is survived by: his son Carter Schell; his sisters, Nicole (Justin Bannister), Holly (Jonathon Dueweke) and Carmen (Corey Mohr); his stepmother Shanna Schell; his grandparents, Joyce Schell Craig, Ron Craig, Vance, Janet Hull, Roger, Sharon Sutherland, Larry and Diane Rohner; his aunt Deb Schell (Ted Alkins); his uncles, Dick (Kim Schell), Brian (Lori Vanderpoel) and Rod (Susan Woodward); and his nieces and nephews, Joylynn, Blane, Charlie, Wayne, Owen, Wilder and Colton.
Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund for his son Carter Schell in care of Nicole Bannister.
