He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley J. Thompson and Orpha Thompson; his siblings, Bonnie and Dale Thompson; and his pet Princess.
He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Cook (Charles), Nadine Scahill (Jim), Deanna Mueller, Danielle Thompson and Darrell Thompson; his siblings, Maynard Thompson and Marcia Burgess; and his close friend Shelly Sloan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
