She was predeceased by: her parents, Charleton Palmer and Jerusha Palmer; her husband Thomas Joe Banks; her children, Jacqueline Hilliard (Sylvester Sr.), Virginia Wright and T. J. Banks Jr.; her siblings, Frances Hutchinson, Marian Murphy, Rosetta Hall, Marion Smith, Dorothy Stark Morgan and Charleton Palmer Jr.; her granddaughter Willette Palmer Calliatte; and her great grandchild Damien Boyd.
She is survived by: her children, William L. Palmer of Port Huron, Charles Edward Jackson of Smiths Creek, Hezekiah W. Miller (Donna) of Smiths Creek and Barbara Jean Jackson of Smiths Creek; her grandchildren, Derrick Buffalo (Tiffany), Kimberly Boyd, LaFonce Jackson (Elda), Orlando Jackson, Sylvester Hilliard Jr., Staci Hilliard, Saundra Miller, Emily LaPharl, Larry Hicks (Terri), Brandy and Danielle Glover; and her godchildren, Nicole Wade Panska and Aria Panska. She is also survived by great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
