He is survived by: his wife Judith Kirkpatrick; his children, Anne McPherson (late Robert), Joel Kirkpatrick (Beth) and Joanna Morgan (Keith); and his grandchildren, Ryan, Jacob, Evan, Mary Kate, Abigail, Alex and Trinity.
