It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Loman of Skanee, Michigan, born in L'Anse, Michigan, who passed away on January 21, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Tuttle and Mamie Tuttle (Rohlin); her husband Clyde Loman; her son Clyde George Loman; her daughter-in-law Jae Lynne Loman; her siblings, Marie Baker and Frank Tuttle; and her close friend Dwight Prosser.
She is survived by: her children, James Loman (Myla Horrocks) of Aura, Jerry Loman (Nancy) of Kalkaska, MI, John Loman (D'Anne) of Oostburg, WI, Jan Gersabeck (Tom) of Golden, CO, Judy Rudolf (Joe) of Spread Eagle, WI and Jay Loman (Renae) of Skanee; her daughter-in-law Carol Loman of Punta Gorda, FL; her grandchildren, Laurie, Marta, Jaeson, Jeriann, Jaron, Jeremy, Colin of Alana, TJ, Sylvia, Steven, Michelle and Jay; her great grandchildren, Ava, Adyson, Eilidh, Lauren, Janelle, Jimmy, Destiney, Jaela, Layelle, Jax, Jaronson, Dustin, Lincoln, Riley and Johnny; and her great great grandchildren, Noah, Mason, Olivia and Mila. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Donations in Dorothy's memory can be made to the L'Anse United Methodist Church or Ahmed Shriners Transportation Fund. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church and for many years made annual donations to Shriners for patient transportation to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
