He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Delia Brower and Clifford Brower; his adoptive mother Bessie (Alfred Erickson); his sons, Joseph, Jr. Erickson (Jody) of Waynesville and Jerry Erickson (Annette) of DeRidder, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Steven Calcote, Brittany Erickson, Garrett Erickson, Michael Weber and Brooke Kato; his great grandchildren, Gavin Calcote, Jaylen Erickson, Reegan Calcote, Lessiah Erickson and McKenzie Erickson; his siblings, William Brower (late Linda), Julia Frazier (Don) and Eunice VanElsacker (late Phillip); his wife Sue West; his daughter Jenny; his son-in-law Roy; his grandson Joshua; and his siblings, Edward Erickson, Conrad Erickson, Gordon Brower (late Carol), Benny Brower, Adelaide Erickson, Beatrice Erickson, Montell Erickson, Phyllis Spade (late Douglas) and Beverly Nielsen (late Harry). He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
