With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elmer Hildenbrand of Skandia, Michigan, born in Lehr, North Dakota, who passed away on May 4, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Hildenbrand and Maggie Hildenbrand (Miller); his wife Shirley Hildenbrand (Swanson); his son Scott Hildenbrand; and his brothers, Calvin and Vernon.
He is survived by: his son Steve Hildenbrand (Sue) of Ellenton, Florida.; his grandchildren, Kristi Layko (Joe), Robin Ellingsen (Cris), Nichole Hildenbrand and Bradley Hildenbrand; his great grandchildren, Adam Cook (Michelle) and Aubrey Robbins (Austin); and his great great grandchildren, Landon Cook, Everett Cook and Larkin Robbins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Skandia-West Branch Fire Department 150 Townhall Rd, Skandia, MI 49885.
