He was predeceased by: his wife Wava White (White); his parents, Jim DeMott and Ima DeMott; and his siblings, Ernie and Hazel Huisman.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Ruth DeRosha; his nieces and nephews, Mike DeMott, Mike Phelps, Tom Huisman, Richard Horton, Keith White, Gracia Class, Jo Phelps and Cheryl Wilson; his close friend Barb Davis; and also, Joyce Holmes, Connie Hull, Jackie Cooper, Brenda Phelps and Robert Shepler.
