She was predeceased by: her parents, Waino Niemi and Florence Niemi (Korri); her sisters, Irene Marie McCormick and Bonnie Niemi; and her stepbrother George Hermanson.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Taryn, Kendall, Logyn, Parker and Michaela; her husband Steve of East Branch; her sons, David (Amy) of Dollar Bay, Daniel (Melanie) of Union Grove and Jared (Melanie) of Oak Creek; her brother Gerald Niemi (Sonja) of Mass City; and her stepbrother Bill Hermanson (Lila) of Boyne City. She is also survived by her grandson Joe were truly her world and gave her the opportunity to fulfill the role she had longed for – being a "Nana." Along with her beloved grandchildren.
