He is survived by: his wife Peggy Bond of Shingleton; his children, Melissa Bond (Thomas Linne) of Munising, Blake Bond of Phoenix, AZ, Samantha Burley (Kory) of Munising and Shawn Schank of Harvey, MI; his grandchildren, Parker, Autumn, Grace, Tyler and C. J.; his brothers, David Bond (Beth) and Tim Bond of Detroit; his parents-in-law, Stanley and Viola Schank of Ocala, FL; and his close friends, Bruce Binning (Lynn) and Bob Herbert (Lori).
