He is survived by: his father Stanley Cottle; his wife Deborah Veldt; his children, Anne Hutchens (Chris) and Sean Cottle; and his siblings, Carolyn Clark (Allan), Marilyn Eldridge (Timothy) and Stephen Cottle (Daneene). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
