He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard L. Johnston and Betty Johnston (Waldron); and his siblings, Rosemary, Marsha and Ron.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane; his children, Robert Heiss (Kristi), Stacey Smith (Brandon), Timothy Johnston, Carl McIntyre (Michelle) and Donald Hoisington (Anne); and his close friends, Louie Johnston and Daryl Johnston. He is also survived by many grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; his cousins.
