It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Chapin (Sheridan, Michigan), who passed away on July 5, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Chapin and Ethel Chapin (Dillenbeck); his wife Patricia; and his siblings, Phyliss Adams, Mary, Robert Chapin, Chuck Chapin and Gary Chapin.
He is survived by: his children, Debbi Monahan (Craig) of Saginaw, Pam Hanks (Jeff) of Marshall, Steven Chapin of Sheridan and Joe Chapin of Ft; his grandchildren, Ashley Zehnder (Shawn) of Reese, Brett Monahan, Kylee Monahan, Jacob Hanks, Alyssa Hanks and Hanna Chapin of Lakeview; his sister Lois Walker of Ionia; his daughter-in-law Leslie Light of Lakeview; and his siblings-in-law, Buz Adams of Greenville, Gene O'Mara of Lake Odessa and Janet Chapin of Lakeview.
