She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Keyes and Ida Mae Keyes (Schultz); her husband Robert Barnard, Sr.; and her children, Linda Barnard and Robert Barnard, Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Lee Barnard of Boise and Dona Lambart (Rodney) of Crystal; her grandsons, Patrick Barnard (Bonnie) of Detroit, Timothy Barnard (Nita) of Emmett and Jeremy Eastman (Samatha) of Boise, Idaho; and her sister-in-law Susan Wagley of East Leroy. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Simpson Family Funeral Homes (246 S Main St, Sheridan, MI 48884). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
