He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Merren and E. Jane Merren (Fisher); his wife Candy; and his brother Steve Merren. He is survived by: his children, Matt Merren of Greenville, Pete Merren (Heather) of Greenville and Kelly Woodhams (Bryan) of Belding; his adoptive children, Steve Merren (Pauline) of Greenville, Adam Merren (Becka) of Greenville and Kyle Merren of Greenville; his grandchildren, Josh Merren (Courtney) of Greenville, Kelsey Clark (Jake) of Belding, Henry Merren of Greenville, Owen Merren of Greenville, Jared Merren of Greenville and Chasity Merren of Greenville; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Hannah, Max, Ben and Darlene; and his siblings, Barbara Foster (Cliff) of Greenville, Beverly Barth (Chuck) of Midland, Jennifer Purdue of Greenville, Pam Allen (Steve) of Sidney and Patrick Merren (Vicky) of Greenville.
