With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joshua Kirsten Fortune of Sheridan, Michigan, born in Digby, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 3, 2021 at the age of 40. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his cousin Craig Amero; and his grandparents, Henry Cowan, Ena Gaudet (Cowan) and Mildred Fortune (Jollymore). He is survived by: his parents, Linda Cowan and John Fortune; his wife Mary Rose Mocherman; his friend Carl; his daughter Amada Brynn; his stepdaughter Zoey Palmateer; his brother Jeremy; his nieces, Chloe and Aizlin Fortune; his nephew Braiden; his half-brother Mathew; his uncles, Tucker and Tony; his aunt Dee; and his parents-in-law, Sue Ann (Greenhoe) and Donald Mocherman.
