He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hunter and Norma Hunter (Hailey); his daughter Lori Ann Hunter; his granddaughter Havily Diaz; and his brothers, David, Donald, Wesley and Ernest Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Gillson; his daughters, Dianna Towne and Leslie Diaz (Paul); his grandchildren, Chelsea Hunter, Zoey Hunter (Xavier Watz), Cooper Daller (Cole), Keiana and Abigail Loren (Benjamin); his great grandchildren, Mason, Niko, Carson, Renton, Aubree, Levi, Charlie and Aurora; and his sister Sharon Larson.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home (816 E Main St, Carson City, MI 48811). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery.
