She was predeceased by: her husband Orville Rivers; her parents, Lewis Swain and Sophia Swain (Peterson); her sister Marie; her brother-in-law Jack Dehn; and her brothers, Bill (Mary Swain) and Bob (Bonnie Swain).
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Sherry Freund; her grandchildren, Angie Steiss (Jeff) of Perry and Jeff Freund (Prescy) of Mission Virjo, California; and her great grandchildren, Samantha, Macy, Hunter and John.
A memorial service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Homes (246 S Main St, Sheridan, MI 48884). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Balcom Cemetery (469 W Tuttle Rd #443, Ionia, MI 48846).
