He was predeceased by: his father Donald Hoyt; his father-in-law Levi Halliwill, Sr.; his brother-in-law James Halliwill, Sr.; and his cousin Jeremy Ward. He is survived by: his children, Zachary Hoyt (Sarah Jennings) of Shepherd and Stephanie Fila (Gage) of Alma; his grandchildren, Alysia, Braxton, Paige, Aiden, Evalynn and Tristan; his mother Aneita Beebe (Ames) of Lansing; his siblings, Rex Hoyt of Barryton, Paula Maciejewski (Keith) of Grand Ledge, Colleen Beebe of Hope and Curt Hoyt (Kathy) of Shepherd; his mother-in-law Dorothy Long of St. Louis; his in-laws, Levi Halliwill (Deb) of Elwell, Billie SanMiguel (Michael), Glenna Halliwill, Della Brandel (Matthew), Christina Sharp (Eugene) and Estella Halliwill; and his nephew Anthony Halliwill (Cheyenne) of Mt. Pleasant. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
