Susan Marie Sandy Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan Marie Sandy of Shepherd, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Joseph and Esther Irene Scully (Halfmann); her husband Dale Sandy; her brother Mike Scully; her nieces, Christine Hauck and Michelle Hauck; her parents-in-law, Howard and Beulah Sandy; and her brother-in-law Mike Dush.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Sandy (Tina) of Kansas City, MO and Kim Yates (Mark) of Shepherd; her grandchildren, Casey Hart (Lauren), Bailee Anderson (Levi), Hannah Yates, Payton Sandy (Zac Fox), Morgan Yates and Mary Yates; her great grandchildren, Giavanna Hart, Adrianna Hart, Creed Hart, Quincee Anderson and Lincoln Anderson; her siblings, Diane McConnell (Mark) of Clare, Kay Pieratt (Rick) of Mt. Pleasant, Tom Scully (Sue) of Mt. Pleasant and Dan Scully (Emily) of Mt. Pleasant; and her in-laws, Carol, Frank Graham, Jim, Joni Sandy and Ruth Dush.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2300 S Lincoln Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Lincoln Reception Center (2300 S Lincoln Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858).
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant First Church of Christ or MyMichigan Hospice.
