It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Elizabeth Day of Shepherd, Michigan, born in Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Day and Joan Day (Trapp); and her sisters, Caroline Day Heath and Margaret Day Teller. She is survived by: her brothers, James Day (Gwen) of Stevensville, MI and Michael Day of Jackson, MI. She is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews; 25 great-nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Commission on Aging Food for Friends Program and H.A.T.S. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
