She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Lasceski and Florence Lasceski (Goretski); her grandparents, Allen, Viola Goretski, John and Anna Lasceski; and her in-laws, Charles, Lillian Gottschalk and Doreen Genis.
She is survived by: her husband Duane Gottschalk of Mary's Catholic Church; her sons, Michael Gottschalk (Kristin) of Sparta and Curtis (Amanda) of Beal City; her grandchildren, Katie (Nick), Shelby, Jared, Blake and Ben; her great grandchild Chase; her siblings, Barb Toner (Dick) of Pigeon, Ken Lasceski (Ann) of Sebewaing and Rich Lasceski (Amy) of Utica; and her in-laws, Ron Genis of Harbor Beach and Mary Gottschalk of Port Austin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A prayer was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2300 S Lincoln Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (302 S Kinney Ave, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (1409 N Fancher St, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A reception was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lincoln Reception Center (2300 S Lincoln Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858).
Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Parish or the Mt. Pleasant Bowlers Hall of Fame.
