He was predeceased by: his wife Annabelle; his grandchildren, Joseph Tryon, William Newson and Autumn Tryon; and his siblings, Ivan, Charles, Wesley, Willard, Wilbur, Jim, Paul, Bertha, Bernice and Margarette.

He is survived by: his parents, Sherman Tryon and Jenny Tryon (Hypolite); his children, James Tryon (Joyce) of Shepherd, Pamela Dougherty (Jack) of St. Louis, Diane Newson (Jack) of St. Louis and Tony Tryon (Mickie) of Alma; and his grandchildren, James Tryon, Jesse Tryon, Aimee Abbott, Patrick Newson, Robb Tveter, Mandy Shepard and Jason Tryon. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
