With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Bonga (Shelbyville, Michigan), who passed away on April 20, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son David. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Roger Jr. Bonga (Marie), Pamela Eland (William), Patricia VanLiere (Keith) and Jon Bonga; and his grandchildren, Paul Eland (Stacey), Charles Eland (Jennifer), Tegan Lewis (Jonathan), Kendra Morris (Jay), David II Bonga (Taylor), Allison VanLiere, Keelin Bonga, Andrew Weissenborn (Grace), Benjamin Weissenborn and Emily Weissenborn. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Red Cross.
