He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Cardiff and Martha Cardiff; and his siblings, Bill Cardiff, Tony Cardiff, Doug Cardiff, Duane Cardiff and Sharon Fenner.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Cardiff; his children, Thomas Cardiff and Andrea Kemp; his stepchildren, Scott Elders (Tammy) and Pam Austin (Mark); his grandsons, Danny Visser (Brittany), Cory Visser (Jessica), Bradley Elders and Kurt Elders (Robin); and his great grandchild Mallory Visser. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
