It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Keith VanVolkinburg of Shelbyville, Michigan, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith VanVolkinburg and Jean VanVolkinburg (Folmer). He is survived by: his significant other Yvonne (Adams); his children, Mark VanVolkinburg, Michelle Mass (Mike), Dawn Larkin (Rob) and Chad (Kassie Williams); his grandchildren, Paige (Tim), Brittany (TJ), Tyler (Josie), Darrien, Devin, Macy, Jessica (Chris), Jacob, Brooke, Zachary, Emily, Danielle, Camden and Jayden; his great grandchildren, Jordan, McKenzie, Lucas, Scarlet, Helena, Gabriella, Violet, Ronin, Ranger, Addison, Lacey and Tommy; and his siblings, Bruce (Connie), Melody (Jeff), Jeff (Tammy) and Kevin (Brenda). He is also survived by several cousins and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Thornapple Valley Church (2750 M-43, Hastings, MI 49058).
Memorial contributions may be given the Children's Ministry at Thornapple Valley Church of Hastings.
