Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Margaret Ann Hallack of Shelby, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 95, on January 16, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude A. Near and Jennie W. Near (Ganger); her husband Norris Hallack; her siblings, Leah Parmer (Near), Nancy Porenta (Near), Clifford Near and Marvin Near; her stepsisters, Beatrice Brown (Near) and Idabell Tinsley (Near); and also, Claude A. and Jennie W. Near (Ganger).
She is survived by: her children, Jon, Carrie Hallack (Flores), Jerry, Georgia Hallack (Felt) and Tammy Hallack (Michael Cousineau). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home (267 N Michigan Ave, Shelby, MI 49455). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Crystal Valley Care Fund, PO Box 451 Hart, MI 49420.
