She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude A. Near and Jennie W. Near (Ganger); her husband Norris Hallack; her siblings, Leah Parmer (Near), Nancy Porenta (Near), Clifford Near and Marvin Near; her stepsisters, Beatrice Brown (Near) and Idabell Tinsley (Near); and also, Claude A. and Jennie W. Near (Ganger).
She is survived by: her children, Jon, Carrie Hallack (Flores), Jerry, Georgia Hallack (Felt) and Tammy Hallack (Michael Cousineau). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
