With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Lou VanVleet of Shelby, Michigan, who passed away on April 26, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Counterman and Mary Counterman (Wolfgram); her husband Donald VanVleet; and her siblings, Charles, Bennie, Samuel, Viola, Baker and Alberta.
She is survived by: her children, Rose Ruffilo (Bill) of Florida, Lisa Ashburn (Eddie) of Florida, Emily, Chuck of Michigan, Russell Gilbert (Shannon) of South Dakota, Marcia Ramirez (Antino) of Florida, Sue Tapang (Philip) of Michigan, Charlotte Green of Michigan, Duane Maddox (Melony) of Michigan and Shawn VanVleet (Amy) of Oklahoma; and her sisters, Marian Miller and Sarah Barr. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
