He was predeceased by: his parents, George Baxter and Ruth Baxter (Miller); his sisters, Michelle Kreigh and Ruth "Bing" Lewis; and his brothers-in-law, Robert "Noodles" Barnes, Bud Spoors and John Kreigh.

He is survived by: his wife Lorna Baxter (Cogswell); his siblings, Rick Baxter-Barnes, Cheri Oros and Kathy Spoors; his grandson Kayden Lawrence Bissell; and his nephew George Ohman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
