He was predeceased by: his spouse Dolores; his sibling Leonard Gmerek; and his parents, Leonard Gmerek and Elizabeth Gmerek. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Gmerek (Debra), Brian Gmerek (Cheryl) and Anita Fereshetian (Eric); his grandchildren, Casey Geyen (Mark), Ken Gmerek (Brittney), Amber Gmerek, Nikki Gmerek, Corinne Fereshetian and Kendra Fereshetian; his great grandchild Camren Geyen; and his siblings, Edward Gmerek and Chester Gmerek.
