He was predeceased by: his parents, John Chodnicki and Ann Chodnicki; and his wife Marlene M. Chodnicki (Sugar). He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Joanne), Darin (Rose) and Kenneth Chodnicki (Kathy); his grandchildren, Amanda Klingbail (George), Zachary (Rachel), Alena, Maria, Reilly Chodnicki, Jaclyn and Ashley Hall; his great grandchild Gianna Rose; and his sister Carol Walker (late Harry).
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home (49150 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48315). A rosary was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Ephrem Catholic Church (38900 Dodge Park Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
