He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Tanner (Daughty) and Daughty Tanner (Colman); and his siblings, Jack Tanner, Rebecca Stoner and Betty VanHeck.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Samuels; and his sons, Wayne Tanner (Andree), Paul Tanner and Mark Tanner (Linda). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
