He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary; his daughters, Catherine Danis (Paul), Lisa Ashworth (Patrick) and AnnMarie Schofield (Michael); his grandchildren, Joseph Ashworth (Shaakira), Noah Ashworth, Angela Danis, Ava Schofield, Nicholas Schofield and Julia Danis; and his sibling Nicola Tarsitano (Emilia). He was also cherished by many loving nieces, nephews and 8 godchildren.
