It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esther Lavon VanNett of Shelby, Michigan, born in Shelby Township, Michigan, who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Skinner and Elsie Skinner (Green); her husband Raymond; her daughter June Duell; and her siblings, Nedra, Aletha, Lila, Carol, Ruth, Gladden, Percy, Lawrence, Neal and Wayne.

She is survived by: her children, Constance "Connie" Ramey (William) and Raymond VanNett (Connie); and her brother Frank Skinner (Bernice). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
