It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Burmeister (Shelby, Michigan), who passed away on November 30, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Virginia Cooper and Thurlow P. Schmieding; and her niece Patty Schmieding. She is survived by: her husband Bill Burmeister; her children, Bart Burmeister (Debbie), Babs Burmeister, Joe Burmeister (Malena) and Russ Burmeister (Cindra Curtis); her nephew Paul Schmieding; her grandchildren, Terrah Schmieding (Kevin), Cam, Colton Burmeister (Taylor Margraves) and Kristen Burmeister; and her great grandchildren, Gabby, Trent, Jayda Schmieding and Granger Burmeister.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home (267 N Michigan Ave, Shelby, MI 49455). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Hospice, interland3.donorperfect.net, or by a mail in envelope provided by the funeral home at the time of services.
