It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sylvia Vermeersch of Shelby Township, Michigan, who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Tyll and Helen Tyll (Quella); her husband Robert Vermeersch; her sons, John and Thomas Vermeersch; and her son-in-law Richard Schneider.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Vermeersch (Rita) of Shelby Township, Deborah Russo (Paul) of Macomb, Sharon Settle (William) of Sterling Heights, Lynn Schneider of Clinton Township, Robert Vermeersch of Lake Orion and Daniel Vermeersch (Ryan Havens) of Detroit. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Mass was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Kierans Catholic Church (53600 Mound Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48316).
